Registration

The APHA 139th Annual Meeting takes place October 29 - November 2 in Washington, DC

Note: APHA policy stipulates that all presenters must be individual members of APHA to have the privilege of presenting their paper(s) at this meeting. Session organizers, moderators and presenters are required to pay the appropriate registration fee (either full or for the day of their presentation). presenters must be registered by the Advance Registration deadline of September 23, 2011.

Additional Registration Information

Early Bird Gets the WormAdvance registration is recommended for your convenience and to avoid possible delays registering on site in Washington. An early-bird discount is offered for registrations received by August 19, 2011. Full registration fees are in effect for registrations received between August 20 and September 23. Onsite fees are in effect after September 23.

Onsite Registration hours:
Onsite registration takes place in the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, during the following hours:

  • Saturday, 10/29/11 - 7:30 am - 6:00 pm
  • Sunday, 10/30/11 - 7:30 am - 6:00 pm
  • Monday, 10/31/11 - 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
  • Tuesday, 11/1/11 - 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
  • Wednesday, 11/2/11 - 7:30 am - 12:00 pm

Pre-registered attendees will be mailed their badges 3 weeks prior to the meeting and will need to pick up their programs and badge holders from the Program Pick Up counters in the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Be sure to bring your registration materials (and badge) with you to Washington, DC!

Annual Meeting registration entitles attendees to full access to the Annual Meeting, including 1,000+ scientific sessions, general sessions, poster sessions, the Public Health Expo, Everything APHA, Electronic Information Center and more. Name badges will be checked at all sessions and events. No meals are included in the price of registration.
